How to cancel Kick

Kick channel subscriptions are cancelled one at a time. Log in, open your account settings, go to the Subscriptions page at kick.com/transactions/subscriptions, find the channel and click Unsubscribe. Your badge, Emotes and sub-only access run to the end of the paid period. If you subscribed in the app, also cancel in Apple Subscriptions or Google Play.

Step-by-step cancellation

These steps only appear when the flow was verified against an official provider or platform source.

If you subscribed on the Kick website

  1. 1

Log in to your KICK account.

  2. 2

    Go to your account settings.

  3. 3

    Open the Subscriptions section (kick.com/transactions/subscriptions).

  4. 4

Find the channel you want to unsubscribe from.

  5. 5

    Click Unsubscribe and confirm.

  • Kick says the same Subscriptions page shows everything you are subscribed to and when each one renews, so you can check nothing is left running.
  • Unsubscribing turns off auto-renewal but does not end the subscription immediately — perks last until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • The direct address of that page, kick.com/transactions/subscriptions, is the one Kick publishes in its 'How to subscribe to a channel on KICK' help article (help.kick.com/en/articles/7127836-how-to-subscribe-to-a-channel-on-kick).

If you subscribed inside the Kick iOS app

  1. 1

Unsubscribe from the channel on Kick first, using the Subscriptions section of your account settings.

  2. 2

Then open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name at the top, and tap Subscriptions.

  3. 3

Select the Kick subscription and choose Cancel Subscription.

  4. 4

Check the list again to confirm no Kick subscription is still set to renew.

  • Kick's help center warns that where subscriptions were purchased through Apple, you should make sure the subscription is cancelled in Apple Subscriptions as well, to avoid any potential future charges and ensure the subscription is fully cancelled.
  • Apple, not Kick, is the merchant for these purchases, so refund requests for them go to Apple.

If you subscribed inside the Kick Android app

  1. 1

Unsubscribe from the channel on Kick first, using the Subscriptions section of your account settings.

  2. 2

Then open the Google Play app (or play.google.com) with the Google account you subscribed with.

  3. 3

Open Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and select the Kick subscription.

  4. 4

    Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.

  • Kick's help center warns that where subscriptions were purchased through Google, you should make sure the subscription is cancelled in the Google Play app as well, to avoid any potential future charges and ensure the subscription is fully cancelled.

Common problems

Only official-source troubleshooting notes are included here.

You unsubscribed on kick.com but were charged again the next month.

That usually means the subscription was bought in the mobile app and is still live with Apple or Google. Open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions on Android, and cancel it there as Kick's help article instructs.

You want to change the card on an active Kick subscription.

Kick does not support this. Its documented route is to unsubscribe, let the current billing period run out, remove the old payment method in account settings, add the new one, then subscribe to the channel again — a new subscription, not a resumed one.

You do not recognise a Kick charge on your statement.

Kick asks you to contact its Subscriptions Team before filing a chargeback, and says most unrecognised charges turn out to be forgotten subscriptions, family members on the same account, or an unfamiliar billing description. It also says filing a chargeback first may get your account suspended while it investigates.

You cannot remember which channels you still subscribe to.

Log in, go to your account settings and open the Subscriptions section. Kick says this page lists every channel you are subscribed to and when each one renews, and lets you unsubscribe from any of them in the same place.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and you keep all subscriber perks during that time.
  • Auto-renewal is turned off, so you are not charged again for that channel.
  • After the current period ends you lose that channel's subscriber perks — badge, sub-only chat access, and that channel's subscriber Emotes stop working until you re-subscribe.
  • The subscription cannot be reactivated to resume automatically; supporting the channel again means starting a new subscription.
  • Each channel is separate, so cancelling one leaves your other Kick subscriptions renewing as normal.

Refund notes

  • Kick's standard policy is that all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. This covers subscriptions, KICKs, and other digital content.
  • Kick lists situations where you may still be entitled to a refund: where consumer protection law requires one (it names the EU and parts of Australia), duplicate charges, being charged after cancelling, an unauthorised purchase from your account, or a technical error where payment went through but the subscription never activated.
  • To request one, Kick asks you to email its Subscriptions Team (the address is published on its cancellation and refund help page) with your KICK username, the streamer's channel, the date and amount of the transaction, the last four digits of the card used, and why you are asking.
  • Kick says disputed amounts must be raised in writing within 30 days of the payment under its Terms of Service, and that failing to do so may waive your claim relating to that payment. Approved refunds typically take 5–10 business days on credit cards and up to 10 business days on debit cards.
  • Refunds for gifted subs and KICKs are very limited because the recipient has already received the digital content or perks. Check Kick's current terms.

FAQ

How do I unsubscribe from a Kick channel?

Log in to your KICK account, go to your account settings, open the Subscriptions section at kick.com/transactions/subscriptions, find the channel you want to leave, then click Unsubscribe and confirm. Each channel subscription is separate, so repeat this for every channel you want to stop supporting.

Does cancelling a Kick subscription end my perks immediately?

No. Kick says unsubscribing does not immediately end your subscription: auto-renewal is turned off, but you keep your subscriber badge, subscriber Emotes and sub-only chat access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

I subscribed to a Kick channel in the app — is unsubscribing on the website enough?

No. Kick's help center says that where a subscription was purchased through Apple or Google, you also need to make sure it is cancelled in Apple Subscriptions or the Google Play app to avoid potential future charges. Kick's iOS and Android apps both sell subscriptions as in-app purchases, so check both places.

Can I get a refund on a Kick subscription?

Kick's standard policy is that all purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. It does list exceptions — duplicate charges, being charged after cancelling, unauthorised purchases, and technical errors — which you raise by emailing its Subscriptions Team. Disputed amounts must be raised in writing within 30 days of payment.

Can I restart a Kick subscription after unsubscribing?

Not automatically. Kick says that once you unsubscribe, the subscription cannot be reactivated to resume, so you would need to start a new subscription to that channel. Adding a new payment method does not restart a cancelled subscription either.
