Skipping is worth considering if you only want a break. On the My Account page, orders that are still editable show white "Reschedule" and "Skip Delivery" buttons next to the delivery date, alongside a "can be changed until" date. Splendid Spoon warns you must skip before the order charges, because after the charge it cannot guarantee that edits — including skipping delivery — can be made.
Not during the initial commitment. Splendid Spoon's Terms of Service state that for Multi-Week Plans you may only skip, and not cancel, during the initial commitment period, since those plans are paid for upfront. Standard weekly plans have no such restriction and can be cancelled from the Account tab at any time before your next "edit by" date.
