If you are outside your cooling-off period (the usual case)
- 1
Sign in to My Sky and check your TV contract end date at sky.com/hub/tv.
- 2
Contact Sky and say you are giving 31 days' notice to cancel Sky TV — Sky's UK complaints article at sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint points you to Message Us as the quickest route, and sky.com lists 0333 7591 018 as its customer service number.
- 3
Ask the agent to confirm the date your service ends and to quote any early termination charge before you agree to anything.
- 4
Keep your Direct Debit running until Sky confirms the account is settled.
- 5
Return your Sky Q equipment, or any Sky Stream puck ordered after 23 February 2023, using the returns method Sky sends you.
- • Sky says the 31-day notice period "can't end before your minimum term finishes" — so on a 12- or 24-month contract, giving notice early does not end the contract early, it just starts the clock.
- • Sky states that early termination charges "must be paid upfront" where the notice period would end before the minimum term does.
