How to cancel MLB.TV

Sign in to MLB.com with the email and password used to buy MLB.TV.

Open the Account section of your profile and go to the Manage Subscriptions area (shown as the Audio/Video Subscriptions section) at https://www.mlb.com/account/subscriptions.

Select your active MLB.TV subscription and cancel it / turn off automatic renewal.

Work through any confirmation screen until the subscription shows as canceled or set not to renew.

MLB states that if you cancel automatic renewal prior to billing, you will not be billed. If you also want money back, request the refund within 5 days of purchase or of an annual renewal date.

Ask for written confirmation showing the cancellation date and that auto-renewal is off.

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.

Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. If Subscriptions is not there, tap App Store, tap your Apple ID, tap View Apple ID, sign in, scroll to Subscriptions.

Tap the MLB subscription you want to manage.

Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel Subscription option, it is already canceled and will not renew.

MLB states it does not have access to Apple App Store accounts or transactions — all billing and refund inquiries must go to Apple.

Open your Google Play subscription settings on the device or Google account used for the purchase.

Select Settings, then choose Subscriptions.

Select the MLB subscription.

Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

MLB states it cannot manage Google Play subscriptions and that Google Play purchases are non-refundable after purchase.

Go to my.roku.com/subscriptions and sign in. MLB notes this cannot be done through the Roku mobile app.

Under Active subscriptions, select the MLB.TV subscription.

Select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew — Roku treats turning off auto-renew as canceling.

Alternatively on the Roku device: press Home, highlight the MLB app, press the Star button, select Manage subscription, then Turn off auto-renew.

You keep access until the end of the current billing cycle.

Log in to your ESPN account through a computer or mobile browser.

Hover over (web) or select (mobile browser) your profile picture in the upper right, then select Account under the Manage My Account section.

Select Manage Subscription, then click the subscription under Plans & Billing.

Select the plan you wish to cancel, then select Cancel and confirm — effective at the end of your billing cycle.

Note: ESPN states you can cancel ESPN Unlimited without losing MLB.TV, and that if your subscription is billed through a third party such as Apple, Google or Roku you must cancel on that partner's site instead.
