To cancel hayu, sign in at hayu.com, open My Account, go to Payment Details and click the cancel button. If you subscribed through iTunes, Google Play, Amazon or Sky, cancel with that platform instead — hayu says it cannot do that for you. You keep streaming until the end of your current billing period.

That's the sign the subscription is billed elsewhere. hayu's support pages route iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and Sky subscribers to those platforms' own subscription controls — check whichever account you originally signed up through.
TV-based hayu subscriptions run through a partner platform's billing. hayu's Help & Support pages keep separate unsubscribe articles for the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon Fire TV and Sky — work out which account you originally signed up through (whichever store or provider bills you) and cancel in that platform's own subscription controls.
Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

Yes, until your current period runs out. hayu's terms state that after cancellation you continue to receive the service until the end of your current subscription, at which point it ends and you are not charged for the following period.
Cancel before the Free Period ends — hayu's terms warn that a free trial rolls into a paid subscription otherwise. Use the same route as a normal cancellation (My Account > Payment Details on hayu.com, or your app store's subscription controls), and you keep trial access until the trial's end date with nothing charged.
hayu's terms don't provide one for a normal cancellation: section 13.3 says you continue to receive the service until the end of your current subscription, then aren't charged for the following period. A pro-rata refund is only described in section 14.3, where hayu itself stops providing the service part-way through a period. Cancelling during a free trial means no payment is taken at all.
