What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

Billing stops renewing — the subscription automatically ends on the last day of the Subscription Term already paid for.
Streaming access continues through the remainder of that paid term rather than ending at the moment you cancel.
No refund or credit is issued for the unused remainder of the billing period.
If you cancel during a free trial before it expires, AMC's Terms state there will be no charges to your billing account.

Not if you were billed directly by amcplus.com. AMC+'s own cancellation guide opens that path with the instruction "Use a computer and web browser (not the app)" before sending you to www.amcplus.com/account/subscription. If instead you subscribed through an app store or partner, AMC+ directs you to cancel with that provider.
