Cancel by contacting ADT (phone + written notice)

Locate your ADT account number (on your bill or in the MyADT account portal).

Contact ADT to request cancellation of monitoring (ADT's monitoring terms list 800.327.4348; the current number also appears on your ADT bill/account).

Tell the agent you want to cancel and give at least 30 days' notice before your current term ends.

If asked, submit written cancellation notice (ADT commonly requests it); keep a dated copy and note who you spoke with.

Return any ADT-provided equipment if instructed, and confirm your final billing date and cancellation in writing.
