What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

Renewal stops and no further payments are taken; the plan runs out its current period.
Paid Grammarly Business features stay available until the end of the period already paid for.
At the end of that period the Grammarly team is dissolved and member seats end.
Removed or former members keep their existing Grammarly accounts, and documents stored in those accounts are not affected.
Once the Business subscription expires, an admin can move to an individual Grammarly Pro plan at grammarly.com/pro.
Cancelling the subscription does not delete the Grammarly account — account deletion is a separate action.

Refund notes

Grammarly's refund article states that you can cancel at any time but that, per its Terms of Service, refunds are issued only if required by law — so cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the remainder of a paid term. Grammarly documents two narrower paths: billing errors can be raised as a support request for review, and a refund for unused seats can be requested via Support under Billing and subscription. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store must be refunded by Apple.
