Apple News+ is billed through your Apple Account, so you cancel it yourself — no chat or phone call required. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Apple News+, then tap Cancel Subscription. The same switch lives at account.apple.com. If News+ arrived inside Apple One Premier, you cancel or change the bundle instead.

Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap the Apple News+ subscription.
Tap Cancel Subscription — you may need to scroll down to find it.
If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red text, Apple says the subscription is already canceled.
Open the News app on your iPhone.
Tap Following, scroll down, then tap Subscriptions (below Manage).
Apple News+ only: tap Cancel Subscription, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Apple News+ plus individual channels: select Apple News+ first, then tap Cancel Subscription and follow the onscreen instructions.
Go to account.apple.com/account/manage/section/subscriptions and sign in with the Apple Account that is billed.
Follow the onscreen instructions to find Apple News+ and cancel it.
If you can't find the subscription, Apple suggests searching your email for a receipt or invoice from Apple to see which Apple Account was charged.
Open the App Store app and click your name in the sidebar (click Sign In if your name isn't there).
Click Account Settings.
Click Subscriptions.
Click the Apple News+ subscription.
Click Cancel Subscription. No Cancel button or a red expiration message means it's already canceled.
Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app on your PC.
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose View My Account and sign in to your Apple Account.
Scroll to the Settings section and click Manage next to Subscriptions.
Find Apple News+, click Edit, then click Cancel Subscription.
Check your bank or card statement to see which company actually bills you.
If a wireless carrier or other provider supplies the subscription, Apple says to contact that carrier or provider for support — you cancel with them, not in Settings.
If you need the linked Apple Account changed, contact Apple Support first, then set the subscription up again with the carrier.

You can't drop News+ on its own from an Apple One Premier plan. Apple's own News+ guide routes Apple One subscribers to its general article on canceling a subscription from Apple, where you cancel or change the whole bundle from the same Subscriptions screen.
Apple's Media Services Terms state that when a subscription ends you lose access to functionality and content that required it. Downloaded News+ issues are subscription content, so finish anything time-sensitive before your paid period runs out.
That's expected. Apple News itself stays on your device; canceling removes only the News+ layer — magazines, newspapers, exclusive puzzles, audio stories, and offline issues. To confirm, reopen Subscriptions: a red expiration message replaces the Cancel Subscription button once it's canceled.
