How to cancel Notion

Open Notion on a desktop computer or in a web browser — Notion states plan settings cannot be changed from the mobile app.

In your sidebar, click Settings, then Billing, then Change plan.

Select the plan you want to change to — choose Free to end paid billing — then click Continue.

Provide some feedback for us, then click Downgrade.

You'll receive confirmation of your downgrade, and see when your current plan ends.

Keep the confirmation screen or email: it names the date your paid access stops.

Check where you subscribed: Notion documents that subscriptions purchased on mobile are managed through the Apple App Store, not in Notion's own billing settings.

Cancel the subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings on the device.

For any subscription issue — cancellation or refund — Notion directs Apple-billed customers to contact the Apple App Store directly.

Confirm the renewal is off before your next billing date; paid features continue until the paid period ends.

Confirm the subscription was purchased on the Android device — Notion states mobile purchases are managed through the Google Play Store.

Cancel the recurring subscription in your Google Play subscriptions list.

For refunds on purchases made online or through Google Pay, Notion asks you to contact Notion rather than the store.

Verify the subscription shows as canceled and note the date access ends.

Act inside Notion's documented windows: within three days of the invoice date for monthly billing, or within 30 days of the invoice date for annual billing.

If you are asking about members added in error, remove those members from your workspace before writing in.

Contact Notion in the app or by email from the address on the account, giving the invoice date and amount.

Apple App Store purchases are excluded — Notion directs you to contact Apple directly to request that refund.

Note that once any portion of purchased Notion credits has been used, those credits are no longer eligible for a refund.
