How to cancel Norton 360

Norton 360 is cancelled directly on the Norton site: sign in, open My Subscriptions, and switch off renewal. Your protection continues until the current paid term ends. If you bought through Apple, Google Play, or Microsoft, cancel in that store instead. Annual plans carry a documented 60-day money-back window; check current pricing.

Step-by-step cancellation

These steps only appear when the flow was verified against an official provider or platform source.

Norton website (billed by Norton)

  1. 1

Sign in to your Norton account at my.norton.com

  2. 2

Go to My Account and select the My Subscriptions tab

  3. 3

Find your Norton 360 subscription and click 'Cancel Subscription Renewal' or 'Manage Renewal'

  4. 4

Next to Plan Renewal, click 'Unsubscribe'

  5. 5

Choose a reason and click 'Next'; if retention offers appear, click 'No thanks, cancel my subscription', then 'Next'

  6. 6

Confirm — the change usually takes a few hours (allow up to 24 hours) to appear in your account

Apple App Store (in-app purchase)

  1. 1

Norton subscriptions bought as an in-app purchase can only be cancelled through the store that billed you

  2. 2

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions (or use Apple billing help at support.apple.com/billing)

  3. 3

Select the Norton subscription and choose Cancel Subscription

  4. 4

Note: removing the Norton app does not stop billing

Google Play (in-app purchase)

  1. 1

Norton in-app purchases must be cancelled in Google Play, not through Norton

  2. 2

Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

  3. 3

Select Norton and tap Cancel subscription (see support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481)

  4. 4

Note: uninstalling the app does not stop billing

Refund request (money-back window)

  1. 1

Turn off renewal first, or request cancellation and refund together

  2. 2

Contact Norton Member Services & Support with your order number, product serial number, or product key

  3. 3

Request the refund within the documented window — annual: 60 days of purchase or of a renewal charge; monthly: 14 days of the first purchase

  4. 4

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method

Common problems

Only official-source troubleshooting notes are included here.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

  • Renewal is switched off, so no further charges are made after the current term.
  • Your Norton 360 protection stays active through the end of the paid subscription term.
  • After that term ends, the subscription stops and your devices are no longer covered.
  • Uninstalling the Norton app does not stop billing — you must turn off renewal in your account or the app store that billed you.

Refund notes

  • Annual plans: full refund if requested within 60 days of the purchase date, and within 60 days of each renewal charge. Monthly plans: full refund within 14 days of the first purchase; later monthly renewals are not refundable. Refunds go to the original payment method and are requested through Norton support. Check current pricing.

FAQ

Can I cancel Norton 360 online without calling?

Yes. If Norton bills you directly, sign in at my.norton.com, open the My Subscriptions tab, and switch off renewal — no phone call needed. If a store (Apple, Google Play, or Microsoft) billed you, cancel in that store instead.

Will I keep protection after I cancel?

Yes. Turning off renewal stops future charges, but your Norton 360 coverage stays active until the end of the current paid term. After that, the protection features stop.

Can I get a refund?

Norton documents a 60-day money-back window on annual plans (from purchase or each renewal charge) and 14 days on a first monthly purchase; monthly renewals aren't refundable. Request it through Norton support. Check current pricing.

Does deleting the Norton app cancel my subscription?

No. Norton states that uninstalling the app does not stop billing. You must turn off renewal in your Norton account, or in the app store that billed you.
