1SE documents only that cancelling prevents renewal and does not refund previous payments — it publishes no cut-off of its own, so the end date shown by Apple, Google Play or your me.1se.co subscription page is the one that governs.

No minimum term — 1SE says you can cancel whenever you need to and restart later, but its help center notes the free trial can only be used once, so a restarted subscription will not come with another trial.

Step-by-step cancellation

These steps only appear when the flow was verified against an official provider or platform source.

If you subscribed on iOS (billed by Apple)

  1. 1

Go to https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions and sign in with your Apple Account.

  2. 2

Tap 1SE in the subscription list.

  3. 3

    Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

  4. 4

Or, on your iPhone: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > 1SE > Cancel Subscription.

  • 1SE also documents an in-app route on iOS: tap the settings icon in the app, tap Manage Subscription, then tap Cancel subscription.
  • 1SE says cancelling does not refund previous payments; it only prevents renewal. For a refund on remaining subscription time it points you to Apple.

If you subscribed on Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. 1

    Go to play.google.com.

  2. 2

Check that you are signed in to the correct Google account.

  3. 3

On the left, click My subscriptions.

  4. 4

Select the 1SE subscription you want to cancel.

  5. 5

    Click Manage, then Cancel Subscription.

  • 1SE says you can also send it a message requesting cancellation through the app's Settings > Contact Support.
  • Cancelling does not refund any payments already made; Google's own refund request workflow is at support.google.com/googleplay/workflow/9813244.

If you subscribed by card on the web (billed via Stripe)

  1. 1

Go to https://me.1se.co/account/subscription and sign in to your 1SE account.

  2. 2

    Open Manage Subscription.

  3. 3

    Choose Cancel Subscription and confirm.

  4. 4

Cancel before the renewal date — 1SE says cancelling does not issue refunds for previous payments, it only prevents renewal.

If you need 1SE's team to help

  1. 1

Open the 1SE app and go to Settings > Contact Support.

  2. 2

Explain whether you want the subscription cancelled or a Stripe payment refunded, and give the email address on your account.

  3. 3

For Apple or Google purchases, 1SE will point you back to those stores — it says Apple, Google and Stripe process payments exclusively and it has no access to your card details.

Common problems

Only official-source troubleshooting notes are included here.

You cancelled in the app but were charged again.

Check the store that actually bills you. Open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on iOS or play.google.com > My subscriptions on Android and confirm 1SE no longer shows a renewal date. 1SE has no access to your card and cannot stop an Apple or Google charge on your behalf.

1SE does not appear in your Apple or Google subscription list.

You are probably signed in with a different Apple Account or Google account than the one used to subscribe — 1SE's Android article specifically tells you to check you are signed in to the correct Google account. If it appears in neither store, the subscription is likely billed via Stripe: check me.1se.co/account/subscription.

You are being charged twice for 1SE.

That usually means two live subscriptions on different platforms — for example an old Apple subscription plus a newer Stripe or Google Play one. Check all three places (Apple Subscriptions, Google Play subscriptions, and me.1se.co/account/subscription) and cancel the one you do not want.

You want out before the free trial converts.

1SE says cancelling the trial is the same as cancelling the subscription: use Apple ID > Manage Subscriptions on iOS or the Google Play Store's Subscriptions section on Android. Do it before the trial's end date, and remember the trial can only be used once.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

  • The subscription stops renewing; 1SE documents no immediate cut-off of its own, so the end date is the one your store or me.1se.co subscription page shows.
  • Pro features stop — unlimited backup of all your projects, as many projects as you need, the music editor with royalty-free tracks and access to your own music library, snippets up to 10 seconds, unlimited snippets on each day of a Journal project, removing date stamps and 1SE branding, per-snippet brightness and volume control, filters (iOS only), Freestyle collaboration, and priority support.
  • 1SE says backups on its server are deleted after one week, but your 1SE data stays available in the app and you can keep editing and adding to it.
  • You can restart a subscription later, but the free trial cannot be used a second time.

Refund notes

  • 1SE says cancelling does not refund previous payments; it only prevents renewal.
  • Because Apple, Google and Stripe process the payments, refunds go to them: 1SE points iOS users to reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple support under Billing & Subscriptions > Subscriptions & Purchases, and Android users to Google Play's refund workflow at support.google.com/googleplay/workflow/9813244.
  • For a purchase made through Stripe, 1SE asks you to contact its support team through the app's Settings > Contact Support. Check the current help center before relying on any refund route.

FAQ

How do I cancel my 1 Second Everyday subscription?

Cancel with whoever bills you. On iOS: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions > 1SE > Cancel Subscription, or Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > 1SE > Cancel Subscription. On Android: play.google.com > My subscriptions > 1SE > Manage > Cancel Subscription. If you paid by card through Stripe: me.1se.co/account/subscription > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription.

Can I cancel 1SE Pro from inside the app?

On iOS, yes. 1SE documents tapping the settings icon in the app, then Manage Subscription, then Cancel subscription. On Android, 1SE's article sends you to the Google Play Store instead, though it says you can also message its team through the app's Settings > Contact Support to request cancellation.

What happens to my 1SE videos if I cancel Pro?

Your 1SE data stays in the app and you can keep editing and adding to it. 1SE says the backups held on its server are deleted after one week, so back up anything you care about before the subscription lapses.

Can I pause my 1 Second Everyday subscription?

No. 1SE's help center says pausing is not available with 1SE subscriptions. It suggests cancelling whenever you need to and restarting later instead, but notes the free trial can only be used once, so a restart begins as a paid subscription.

Will I get a refund if I cancel 1SE Pro mid-term?

1SE says cancelling only prevents renewal and does not refund previous payments. Since Apple, Google and Stripe process the payments, refund requests go to them: reportaproblem.apple.com for iOS, Google Play's refund workflow for Android, and 1SE's in-app Settings > Contact Support for Stripe purchases.
