If you subscribed through the Apple App Store

  1. 1

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name.

  2. 2

    Tap Subscriptions.

  3. 3

    Select the Zwift subscription.

  4. 4

    Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

  • Zwift says that with an Apple App Store subscription you will not see a cancellation option on Zwift.com, and that you must manage the subscription through the Apple App Store.
  • Zwift's Membership FAQ (support.zwift.com/en_us/membership-faq-S1UXLKKzT) says deleting your Zwift account does not cancel an Apple App Store subscription, and that cancellations and refund requests for those must be managed directly through Apple.
  • The same Membership FAQ says memberships billed directly through Zwift can be paused but Apple App Store subscriptions cannot.

Expect a retention offer

Common problems

Only official-source troubleshooting notes are included here.

There is no cancel option on zwift.com.

Zwift says an Apple App Store subscription hides the cancellation option on Zwift.com — cancel it through Apple instead. If your membership is active and you still cannot cancel, Zwift asks you to contact support and include details of the error with a screenshot.

You cancelled Zwift but the charges continue.

Zwift says to first confirm the cancellation on zwift.com/billing/membership, then check whether a family or household member has a separate Zwift account on the same payment method. If neither explains it, Zwift asks for the date, amount and currency of the charge, a screenshot, and your payment method details.

You want a break from Zwift rather than a cancellation.

Zwift lets you pause a directly billed membership for 7 to 90 days from the membership page instead of cancelling. Apple App Store subscriptions cannot be paused.

You deleted your Zwift account and are still being billed.

Zwift says deleting your account does not cancel an Apple App Store subscription, and that cancellations and refund requests for those go through Apple. Zwift also says you should cancel the membership before deleting the account.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

  • Your membership stays active until the end of your current billing cycle, then stops renewing.
  • Zwift says your progress is saved after cancellation.
  • Zwift says riding requires an active membership, but running remains available without one.
  • You can remove a scheduled cancellation at zwift.com/billing/membership if you change your mind before it takes effect.

Refund notes

  • Zwift says you keep access through the remainder of your billing period and will not receive a refund for unused time.
  • The one documented exception, from Zwift's Membership FAQ (support.zwift.com/en_us/membership-faq-S1UXLKKzT): first-time annual subscribers who cancel within 30 days receive a full refund.
  • The same Membership FAQ says monthly memberships include a 14-day free trial while annual memberships do not, so cancelling inside the monthly trial avoids the first charge.

FAQ

How do I cancel my Zwift membership?

Go to zwift.com/billing/membership and sign in, select MANAGE, select Zwift Membership, select Cancel Subscription, then select a reason for leaving and select CANCEL MEMBERSHIP. Zwift says to do this at least 24 hours before your next billing date, or at least 7 days ahead if you pay by Direct Debit.

Why is there no cancel button on my Zwift account?

Zwift says that is the signature of an Apple App Store subscription: if you have one, you will not see a cancellation option on Zwift.com and must manage it through the App Store. If your membership is active and you still cannot cancel, Zwift asks you to contact support with the error details and a screenshot.

Does Zwift refund an annual membership if I cancel?

Only for first-time annual subscribers inside 30 days. Zwift's Membership FAQ (support.zwift.com/en_us/membership-faq-S1UXLKKzT) says first-time annual subscribers who cancel within 30 days receive a full refund. Otherwise it says you retain access through the remainder of your billing period and will not receive a refund for unused time.

Can I pause Zwift instead of cancelling?

Yes, for a membership billed directly by Zwift. Its cancellation article says you can pause your membership from the membership page for 7 to 90 days instead of cancelling, and its Membership FAQ (support.zwift.com/en_us/membership-faq-S1UXLKKzT) says Apple App Store subscriptions cannot be paused.

Does cancelling Zwift delete my progress?

No. Zwift says your progress is saved after cancellation. Deleting your account is a different action — Zwift's Membership FAQ (support.zwift.com/en_us/membership-faq-S1UXLKKzT) says you must cancel the membership first, and that deleting the account permanently removes all data and progress.

Why am I still being charged after cancelling Zwift?

Zwift gives two documented causes. First, confirm the cancellation actually shows on zwift.com/billing/membership. If it does, Zwift says to check whether a family or household member has a separate Zwift account using the same payment method — each membership covers only one profile. Apple App Store subscriptions also keep billing until cancelled through Apple.
