Cancel on the OkCupid website (credit card or PayPal purchases)
- 1
On the website (not the app), go to your Subscription Settings page at okcupid.com/settings?page=subscriptions to see your subscription details. OkCupid states that if you use the app but paid using PayPal or a credit card, you must go to okcupid.com/settings on a browser — there is no option to cancel in the app or on the mobile site.
- 2
On the settings page you'll see a list of your subscriptions.
- 3
Click the "Turn off automatic billing" link. OkCupid states this "will prevent you from being billed again in the future, but you'll keep the rest of the time on your subscription that you have already paid for."
- 4
Confirm it worked: if the button says "Renew" instead of "Turn off automatic billing", that means the subscription is already canceled, and you should see the date your subscription is set to end.
- 5
If the payment method is Google Play or Apple with no "downgrade" button, OkCupid states you won't be able to cancel your subscription via its website and must cancel through the store instead.
