Step-by-step cancellation

These steps only appear when the flow was verified against an official provider or platform source.

Cancel a Framer site plan

  1. 1

Open your workspace settings in Framer.

  2. 2

    Navigate to the Plans tab.

  3. 3

Click the three-dot menu next to the site you want to cancel.

  4. 4

    Select Cancel Plan.

  5. 5

    Provide feedback and confirm.

  • Framer states your plan benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Editor subscriptions are tied to active site subscriptions within a workspace — to remove editor charges you must cancel all site subscriptions, and once the final one is cancelled the editor subscription ends at the billing cycle's end.
  • Framer notes that cancelling a subscription does not guarantee a refund; eligibility depends on its Refund Policy.

Downgrade instead of cancelling (keeps the site published on a cheaper plan)

  1. 1

Open the Dashboard and select the project you want to update.

  2. 2

Click the menu in the top-left corner and select Settings.

  3. 3

    Open the Plans tab.

  4. 4

Review the available Site plans and their features.

  5. 5

Select the plan you want to switch to.

  6. 6

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the change.

  • Framer says that when you downgrade during an active billing period, the unused value of your current subscription is converted into account credit, calculated on the remaining value of your current plan.
  • That credit is non-refundable, automatically applies to future invoices, and reduces the amount due on upcoming billing cycles until the balance is used.

Request a refund inside Framer's window

  1. 1

Check the window first: Framer says you are entitled to a refund if you cancel within 7 days of the initial purchase, or within 14 days for E.U. and Turkey residents.

  2. 2

Contact Framer's support team through its Contact page.

  3. 3

Include your subscription details and purchase date to speed up the review.

  4. 4

Note that Framer does not refund unused time remaining on an active subscription term, and requests submitted after the applicable refund period are not eligible.

  • Cancelling on its own is not a refund — Framer states that cancelling a subscription does not automatically qualify you for one.

Expect a retention offer

Common problems

Only official-source troubleshooting notes are included here.

You cancelled a site plan but Framer still charged you next month.

Check for other active site subscriptions in the same workspace. Framer says editor subscriptions are tied to active site subscriptions, so editor charges continue until every site plan in that workspace has been cancelled.

You expected money back after downgrading and got a credit instead.

That is Framer's documented behaviour. Unused value from the current subscription is converted into non-refundable account credit that automatically applies to future invoices. A cash refund is only available within 7 days of the initial purchase (14 days in the E.U. and Turkey).

You cannot find the Cancel Plan option.

It sits behind the per-site menu. Open workspace settings, go to the Plans tab, and click the three-dot menu next to the specific site — Cancel Plan is in that menu, not on a single account-wide subscription screen.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

  • Framer states your plan benefits remain available until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Once the final site subscription is cancelled, the editor subscription automatically ends at the conclusion of the current billing cycle.
  • If you downgrade rather than cancel, unused value from your current subscription becomes account credit that applies automatically to future invoices until the balance is used.
  • That account credit is non-refundable — it reduces future Framer invoices rather than returning money to your card.

Refund notes

  • Framer states you are entitled to a refund if you cancel within 7 days of the initial purchase, and that E.U. and Turkey residents are legally entitled to a refund if they cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase. Refund requests submitted after the applicable refund period are not eligible.
  • Framer says refunds are not provided for unused time remaining in an active subscription term, and that cancelling a subscription does not automatically qualify you for a refund. Requests go through Framer's support Contact page.

FAQ

How do I cancel a Framer site plan?

Open your Framer workspace settings, go to the Plans tab, click the three-dot menu next to the site you want to cancel, select Cancel Plan, then provide feedback and confirm. Framer says your plan benefits remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Why am I still being charged for Framer editors after cancelling a site plan?

Framer says editor subscriptions are tied to active site subscriptions within a workspace. If any site plan is still active, editor charges continue. Cancel every site subscription — once the final one is cancelled, the editor subscription automatically ends at the end of the current billing cycle.

Can I get a refund from Framer after cancelling?

Only inside the window. Framer says you're entitled to a refund if you cancel within 7 days of the initial purchase, or 14 days for E.U. and Turkey residents. Requests after that period aren't eligible, and Framer doesn't refund unused time on an active subscription.

What happens to unused time when I downgrade my Framer plan?

Framer converts it into account credit rather than a refund. The credit is calculated on the remaining value of your current plan, is non-refundable, applies automatically to future invoices, and reduces the amount due on upcoming billing cycles until the balance is used.

When does a Framer cancellation take effect?

At the end of the current billing cycle. Framer states plan benefits remain available until then, so the site keeps running on its paid plan for the rest of the period you've already paid for, and the editor subscription ends at that same point once all site plans are cancelled.
