How to cancel Hiatus

To cancel Hiatus Premium, open the app, tap the gear icon in the top-left corner, choose the More tab, select Premium Status, then tap Cancel Membership. You can also email support@hiatusapp.com, use chat, or call (855) 508-5411. Hiatus warns that uninstalling the app does not cancel — charges continue.

You uninstalled the Hiatus app and are still being charged.

Reinstall and cancel from Premium Status, or contact support at support@hiatusapp.com or (855) 508-5411. Hiatus states that uninstalling does not cancel the membership.

The Premium Status screen doesn't show a Cancel Membership button.

That usually means the subscription isn't billed by Hiatus. Check Apple's Settings > Subscriptions list, since Hiatus sells Premium as an App Store in-app purchase. If it isn't there either, contact Hiatus support directly.

You want the banking connection gone as well as the subscription.

Cancelling Premium and deactivating the account are separate actions. To remove your banking information, use the gear icon > More > Accounts > Deactivate Account, or ask the Hiatus support team to deactivate it.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

Hiatus stops billing you for Premium once the membership is cancelled in the app or by its support team.
Re-open the Premium Status screen to confirm you are no longer shown as a subscribed Premium member.
Your Hiatus account itself stays open — deactivating the account and removing your bank connection is a separate step under More > Accounts > Deactivate Account.
