How to cancel Copilot Money

Copilot Money bills either through the Apple App Store or directly through Stripe, so cancel where you signed up. In the Copilot app, open Settings, then Subscription, then Manage your subscription. If Apple billed you, cancel in the App Store instead. Cancelling stops renewal and access runs to the end of the paid period. Deleting your account is separate.

Step-by-step cancellation

These steps only appear when the flow was verified against an official provider or platform source.

Cancel a subscription bought directly from Copilot (web app or Mac app downloaded from copilot.money)

  1. 1

Confirm you subscribed directly rather than through the App Store — Copilot states that subscribing via the Web app or the Mac app downloaded from its website begins a subscription directly with Copilot through Stripe.

  2. 2

In the Copilot app on the device you originally subscribed on, open Settings > Subscription > Manage your subscription.

  3. 3

From there you can change your plan, update your payment method, or cancel your subscription. Copilot's help center also links Stripe subscribers to a page where they can manage the subscription directly.

  4. 4

Select the option to cancel the subscription and confirm.

  5. 5

Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription period, as Copilot's terms of service require, so the next charge does not go through.

  6. 6

Keep the cancellation confirmation — you will need the cancellation date if you intend to request a refund.

Cancel an App Store subscription on iPhone or iPad

  1. 1

Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. 2

Tap your name or profile icon at the top right corner.

  3. 3

    Select Subscriptions.

  4. 4

    Tap Copilot.

  5. 5

    Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

  6. 6

Copilot notes that Apple manages all payments and refunds, so Copilot cannot start or stop an App Store subscription on your behalf — the cancellation has to happen in Apple's App Store, not inside the Copilot app.

Cancel an App Store subscription on Mac

  1. 1

Open the App Store app on your Mac.

  2. 2

Click your name in the lower left corner.

  3. 3

Click Account Settings in the upper right corner.

  4. 4

    Click Manage next to Subscriptions.

  5. 5

    Select Copilot.

  6. 6

    Cancel the subscription and confirm.

  7. 7

Use the same Apple ID that the Copilot subscription was purchased under.

  8. 8

Access continues until the end of the current subscription period.

Request a refund after cancelling (subscriptions bought directly from Copilot)

  1. 1

This path applies only to subscriptions purchased directly from Copilot, not through the App Store.

  2. 2

Cancel your subscription within one month of your initial purchase.

  3. 3

Email support@copilot.money to request a refund within five days of cancelling.

  4. 4

Copilot's terms state you will receive a full refund for that subscription if both conditions are met.

  5. 5

Copilot states that cancelling outside that period does not entitle you to any refund or credit, full or partial, unless applicable law requires it.

  6. 6

If Apple billed you, request the refund from Apple instead — Copilot notes that Apple manages all payments and refunds for App Store subscriptions.

Delete your Copilot account (separate from cancelling)

  1. 1

Copilot states that deleting your account and cancelling your subscription are two separate actions, and that you should cancel your subscription first so you are not charged again.

  2. 2

Cancel your subscription first — through Apple, or directly with Copilot, depending on how you were billed.

  3. 3

Go to Copilot Settings > Account > Delete your Copilot account.

  4. 4

    Type "delete account" to confirm.

  5. 5

    Tap "Yes, delete everything".

  6. 6

Copilot states your budgets and data will be deleted and this cannot be undone.

  7. 7

If you have already deleted the app, Copilot says you can email support@copilot.money from or with your signup email address to request account deletion.

Common problems

Only official-source troubleshooting notes are included here.

What happens after you cancel?

Post-cancellation details like access, downgrade behavior, and refund caveats are shown only when the provider documents them.

  • Auto-renewal is disabled and Copilot states you will not be charged again once the subscription expires.
  • You keep full access to your Copilot account until the end of the current subscription period.
  • Your account and its data remain in place after the period ends — cancelling does not delete anything.
  • Deleting your Copilot account is a separate action that permanently erases budgets and data and cannot be undone.
  • If you subscribed directly through Copilot (billed through Stripe) and delete your account, Copilot states it cancels that subscription on deletion because it controls the billing directly.
  • An App Store subscription is not cancelled by deleting the account or the app — it must be cancelled through Apple.

Refund notes

  • For purchases made directly from Copilot (billed through Stripe), the Terms of Service document a full refund if you cancel within one month of your initial purchase and email support@copilot.money within five days of cancelling. Copilot states that cancelling outside that window earns no refund or credit, full or partial, unless applicable law requires one. App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own refund policy — Copilot notes that Apple manages all payments and refunds for those subscriptions. Check current pricing before subscribing.

FAQ

Does deleting the Copilot Money app or my account stop the billing?

Deleting the app does not. Copilot's help center states that deleting your account and cancelling your subscription are two separate actions, and tells you to cancel first so you are not charged again. One exception is documented: if you subscribed directly through Copilot (billed through Stripe) and then delete your account, Copilot cancels that subscription itself because it controls the billing directly. An App Store subscription still has to be cancelled through Apple.

Why doesn't Copilot Money appear in my iPhone subscriptions list?

Copilot bills either through the Apple App Store or directly through Stripe, depending on where you originally signed up — Copilot states that subscribing via the Web app or the Mac app downloaded from its website begins a subscription directly with Copilot through Stripe, and those never appear under Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Copilot's help center says these subscriptions run through Stripe and links Stripe subscribers to a page where they can manage the subscription directly. If Copilot isn't listed under your Apple ID, open Copilot > Settings > Subscription > Manage your subscription to see which billing path you are actually on.

Can I get a refund after cancelling Copilot Money?

For subscriptions bought directly from Copilot, the Terms of Service document a full refund if you cancel within one month of your initial purchase and email support@copilot.money to request it within five days of cancelling. Copilot states that outside that window subscriptions are not refundable, in full or in part, unless applicable law requires otherwise. If Apple billed you, the refund request goes to Apple under Apple's own policy — Copilot notes that Apple manages all payments and refunds for App Store subscriptions.

Do I lose access to Copilot Money as soon as I cancel?

No. Copilot's help center states that cancelling an active subscription disables auto-renewal and you will not be charged again once the subscription expires, and that you can still access and use your Copilot account until the end of the current subscription period. Your account and its data remain after that unless you separately delete the account, which erases budgets and data and cannot be undone.

Is there a Google Play route to cancel Copilot Money?

No. Copilot is offered for iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web, and there is no Google Play subscription to cancel. If you subscribed through the web app or the Mac app downloaded from Copilot's website, your billing runs through Stripe and you cancel from inside the app at Settings > Subscription > Manage your subscription rather than through any app store.
