How to cancel Canva Profree trial before you're charged
Canva Pro free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at $14.99/month when the trial ends. A common mistake is deleting the app, that does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your account settings before the trial window closes.
⚠ Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends. Some services process renewals early and won't refund charges that have already cleared.
Step-by-step: cancel your Canva Pro free trial
These steps cancel the trial before you are charged. Takes under 2 minutes.

Make sure to log in to the right Canva account or team — Canva notes the subscription may sit on a different account than the one you are signed in to.

On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu.

Select Settings.

Go to Billing (labelled 'Contract period' for Japan).

On your plan, select Cancel plan.

Select Continue cancellation.

Choose why you want to cancel, then select Continue cancellation again. (On a separate help page Canva documents that choosing 'I want to pause my subscription' at this screen diverts you into a three-month pause instead of cancelling.)

(Optional) Tell Canva why you are cancelling your plan.

Select Cancel subscription. — This is the final, required step; the cancellation is not complete until you select it.

You should receive a confirmation email when your plan is cancelled. If no email arrives, Canva says the cancellation may not have gone through — repeat the steps.
When does Canva Pro charge you?
Canva Pro charges you the day after your 30-day trial ends. Set a reminder 30 days from when you started the trial, or log the trial in Gravity and get a reminder before it converts.
Reminder: Deleting the Canva Pro app does NOT cancel your free trial. You must cancel through your account settings.
After canceling, confirm it worked

- ✓The subscription status shows "Cancelled" or "Ends on [date]"
- ✓Auto-renewal is turned off
